Tour Plan

Day-01 Arrival in Auckland. Welcome to New Zealand.

After completing your immigration process at the airport, board your transfers to your hotel. Upon arrival, finish the check-in formalities and take some time to relax after the long flight journey, giving yourself a well-deserved rest.

Day 02 Transfer to Rotorua. Enroute visit Hobbiton Movie Set.

Later, get ready and board your transfers for a scenic journey through New Zealand’s picturesque landscapes toward the Hobbiton Movie Set in Waikato. Upon arrival, spend 30-45 minutes exploring the official Hobbiton Gift Shop or grab a bite at the famous Shire's Rest Café.

We will then begin a 2-hour guided tour of the 1,250-acre sheep farm, surrounded by stunning views of the Kaimai ranges. During the tour, visit iconic spots such as the Hobbit Holes, the Old Mill, and the Double-Arched Bridge, with a stop for a complimentary drink at The Green Dragon Inn.

After the tour, continue the journey to Rotorua, check in to the hotel, and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 03 Visit Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland. Te Pa Tu Cultural Indigenous Evening.

Board your transfers for a scenic drive through New Zealand's lush forests and farmlands, heading to Waiotapu Thermal Park. Here, embark on a 1-hour guided tour to witness some of the country's largest boiling mud pools, vibrant hot springs, and a unique thermal landscape.

If we arrive in time, we may also experience the impressive eruption of the Lady Knox geyser.

Next, we'll explore the Waimangu Volcanic Rift Valley, learning about the 1886 Mt Tarawera eruption that shaped this geothermal wonderland.

Later, return to Rotorua for a cultural evening at the Te Pa Tu Gathering Place. Explore a traditional Maori village and immerse yourself in the tribe’s way of life, followed by captivating performances of dance, storytelling, and song in a forest amphitheater.

After the show, return to the hotel for the night.

Day 04 Transfer from Rotorua to Christchurch. Day at leisure.

Board your transfers to Rotorua Airport for a scenic 2-hour flight to Christchurch, a city beautifully situated between the Pacific Ocean and the snow-capped Alps. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, where you can complete the check-in process and take some time to relax. The remainder of the day is yours to spend at leisure, whether you choose to rest after your journey or explore the charming streets of Christchurch at your own pace.

Day 05 Transfer to Greymouth by Tranz Alpine Train. Visit Punakaiki Rocks & Blowholes.

Board your transfers to Christchurch Railway Station to embark on a scenic 4.5-hour train journey to Greymouth, traveling across New Zealand's South Island from the east coast to the west. Along the way, take in the sweeping views of the Canterbury Plains, the rugged river gorge of Waimakariri, and the stunning landscapes of Arthur’s Pass National Park. Upon arrival at Greymouth, you'll transfer to the Punakaiki Pancake Rocks and Blowholes, where you can explore the fascinating limestone formations and witness the blowholes in action. After your sightseeing, head to your hotel and complete the check-in process.

Day 06 Transfer from Greymouth to Franz Josef. En route visit Shantytown Heritage Park.

Before arriving at Franz Josef, we will stop at the Shantytown Heritage Park, where you'll learn about life in New Zealand during the gold rush era. After exploring the park, we will continue our scenic drive along coastal roads, taking in breathtaking views as we head towards Franz Josef, a charming town nestled in a steep valley beneath the glaciers. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 07 Transfer from Franz Josef to Queenstown. Spend the day at leisure.

Later, we will board our transfers to Queenstown, known as the adventure capital of the world. This 4-5 hour scenic drive will take you through breathtaking landscapes, including alpine forests, charming towns, cascading waterfalls, rivers, and towering mountains. Upon arrival in Queenstown, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You can choose to explore the vibrant town or relax and unwind in your room.

Day 08 Day at leisure in Queenstown.

As the adventure capital of the world, Queenstown offers a variety of thrilling activities. For those looking to explore the city, you can visit attractions such as Lake Wakatipu, Skycity Wharf Casino, Fear Factory, Kiwi Park, or take a scenic Gondola ride up to Bob’s Peak for stunning views. Adventure seekers can dive into activities like hiking, trekking, skiing, bungy jumping, skydiving, paragliding, and rafting, among many others. You can also opt for day excursions to nearby wineries, scenic lakes, valleys, and canyons. After a day of exploration and adventure, return to your hotel to relax.

Day 09 Excursion to Milford Sound. Enjoy a scenic cruise.

Board your transfers and embark on a stunning journey through breathtaking landscapes to reach Milford Sound. Upon arrival, board your cruise to explore this world-renowned wilderness. During the cruise, marvel at the mirror-like lakes, waterfalls carved by glaciers, towering mountains, and dramatic cliffs, all showcasing the natural beauty of the area. Enjoy a delicious lunch onboard as you soak in the serene surroundings. After completing your sightseeing adventure, board your transfers for the return journey back to Queenstown.

Day 10 Transfer from Queenstown to Christchurch. En route witness the beauty of Mt.Cook and Lake Tekapo.

Get ready and board your transfers for an exciting day as we journey to Christchurch. During this scenic road trip, we will pass through the stunning Kawarau Gorge and the fruit and wine-growing region of Cromwell. Along the way, take in the beauty of Lake Dunstan, the dramatic landscapes of Lindis Pass, and the expansive plains of the Mackenzie district. We’ll also have the opportunity to marvel at the iconic Mt. Cook and the charming Mt. Cook Village, known for its connection to the famous film “Lord of the Rings.” Don’t miss a quick photo stop on the banks of Lake Tekapo, where you can admire the picturesque Church of the Good Shepherd. After approximately 5-6 hours of breathtaking views, we will arrive in Christchurch and complete the check-in process at the hotel.
